The Micromark has a big brother-one who is still small enough to deliver the Markbass sound anywhere, but big enough to provide a fuller sound with plenty of bottom end! The Markbass Micromark 801 features a single yellow 8" Markbass neodymium speaker. The original (6") Micromark has been astounding people since its first introduction a few years ago. But this new version is even more sonically impressive!

This amp sounds awesome especially if you don't like a tweeter. It's got plenty of volume for acoustic type acts or at band practice. If you play in a metal band or loud volume band this isn't for you however. I use this for practice and for very small gigs without a drummer. The amp has awesome growl at higher volumes that larger more powerful amps don't until you push them. My Markbass 121 would be way too loud to get that growl at a small gig. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you'll love it if you can afford to spend $500 on a practice amp.
I own a Markbass little tube 800w head and 2- 2x10 markbass cabinets. this Micromark 801 now goes to every band practice, yes its big enough to use at rehearsals Amazing!!! I do not use my pro neo Ampeg cabinets either anymore. I've been playing bass and guitar for 51yrs and nothing beats the sound of my Markbass eqipment
