The Markbass Micromark bass combo is an amplifier that is less than 9" in any direction. Despite only a 6" speaker, the Micromark is a practice amp with deceptively loud volume and the kind of sound quality you'd expect from a Markbass custom speaker with Markbass electronics. Pumping out 50W of power, the Micromark amp boasts a mini-plug for attaching your CD or MP3 players, to help you master your favorite licks.

The Markbass Micromark amp has a Variable Pre-shape filter for boosting lows around 35Hz and highs around 10kHz, and cutting mids at 380Hz”which is perfect for rockers and slap bassists alike. There's a volume control knob, headphone jack, XlR output for recording and live situations, a ground lift to eliminate hum, and a 1/4" jack tweeter out for the optional Markbass satellite tweeter.

Get this amp!

By Corey A.

from East Moriches, NY

If you want a small bass amp to practice on, this is it, it has a punchy low end but the amp also produces high pitches beautifully. Not to be bought as a main rig, but great for practice

MARK BASS SUX!!!!!!!!!!!

By Anthony

from Upton, Ma

Don't get a mark bass amp, i've tried one of these at guitar center and it didn't have good sound quality, it didn't rumble at all and it was wayyyyyyy to over priced so don't waste your money on Mark Bass and get and acustic or ampeg.

A solid amp in a tiny box

By Jeff

from SD, CA

I bought one and returned it for the more expensive 2x6 version, then swapped back as I felt I really didn't gain much. This amp gives a nice, deep, clean tone for its size that shocks people when they see it. It only starts to lose focus as I near a low B on a 5 string, but still pulls it off. It is strong enough to cut through a guitar or two and perfect for augmenting an acoustic bass. A little more money than you basic bedroom amp perhaps but the size means it can be set in a bookshelf, and it will retain its resale value because of its quality so I don't mind the premium. For something that you can easily take anywhere, use anywhere and sound good at the same time, this little performer can't be beat. I am interested to hear their new 8" version though, that might be the perfect practice amp. That would be one you could perform some venues with if their other amps are any indication of what it will do.
