Comments about Markbass Markacoustic AC101 Acoustic Combo Amp:
My first impression of the AC 101 was how small, and light it was. I thought, "You got to be kidding." However, the wonderful sound quality really convinced me (and my musician friends) that this is the best acoustic amp on the market. I play a variety of instruments including acoustic guitar, dobro, electric bass, didgeridoo, and Roland Handsonic 10. The AC 101 handles all these instruments with ease; faithfully reproducing the lowest bass to the highest harmonics. One of the great features is the dual pre-amps with separate EQ and onboard effects. The phantom power input supports condenser microphones. At first, I hesitated spending a $1000 for an acoustic amp, but I have no regrets. The AC 101 handles all my instruments and setups, plus is LOUD enough for live performances (unless you play metal).
