The Little Mark Tube Anniversary edition solves the “tube or solid state” dilemma. The Little Mark Tube 800 goes a step further by also addressing that other perennial concern, “Will I have enough power?” The 800W from this powerful amp will satisfy any thirst for power, and the two blendable preamps give you the warmth and richness of a tube preamp, the clean attack of a solid state preamp—or a mix of both!
On the front panel there are also two inputs with separate gain controls: one 1/4” jack, and one combo jack that accepts either a XLR or 1/4” cable. Additional features include switchable 48V phantom power for the XLR input, solid-state/tube mix control, four bands of equalization, Vintage Loudspeaker Emulation and Variable Pre-shape Filter, line out level control, pre-post EQ switch for the XLR out (on rear panel), and mute control (push-pull on the master knob).

Comments about Markbass Little Mark Tube 800 Anniversary 15 800W Bass Amp Head:
Seriously this is one of the best sounding amps for the price range. I pared it up with 2 Markbass New York 151 for a powerful little setup that is easy to transport. The DI output sounds great, and even if you bypass the EQ with the switch on the back of the unit your bass signal still travel through the preamp and give you lots of output to the mixer. This amp should be just fine with most styles of music and also serves as a good foundation for effects, over drives, and fuzz and much more I'm sure. The EQ, VLE, and VPF controls are VERY well thought out you can basically get any tone of of this amp. Also it has 2 inputs, one of them has phantom power which is handy to use with a condenser mic and an acoustic bass if you don't like the sound of the just the internal electronics of the acoustic bass.
