The Markbass Super Synth bass pedal offers seriously cool stereo sounds with no tracking delay. Set the sensitivity level to match how hard or soft you play, and the pedal tracks your playing perfectly. The smooth, deep sounds include a very wide variety of synth tones, all sensitive to the intensity of your attack. Octaver mode allows you to layer your sound with octave up, octave down and two octaves down. You can either use the synth output only, or mix in your dry bass sound. Preset parameters can be modified using the supplied software, and downloaded back to the pedal from your computer via the USB connection.

  • Great Pedal and Software!!!

    Super great Synth/Oct. pedal!! Pros: So much tweak-ability with the software. Amazing and Dead on tracking even with a Low B (occasionally dropped to A). True Bypass, so no signal degradation when bypassed. Some great sounds out of the box and tons of usable and cool sounds, very inspiring. Very solid construction, great LED for dark stages. Access to 12 preset sounds that you've made. Cons: (only reason it didn't get a 5) Have to scroll through sounds instead of jumping from 1-12. All the tweaking in the software can't be accessed on the gig, so get the sounds you like and make sure they work in a mix. Great pedal and if it was lost or stolen I'd immediately replace it with another. Well worth the money for the construction, AMAZING tracking, Very great sounds and software capabilities.

  • Great sounds but...

    I really had high hopes for this pedal. I did a lot of research and have played just about every synth pedal ever made for bass. What I liked about this pedal is the crazy/spacy sounds you can get. It really can create some interesting and unique synth sounds. There were two main reasons why i decided to return the pedal. 1. the controls are annoying. If you have ever played the EHX Micro Synth, you know that having knobs to control your sound is a luxury. The programmable software is nice, but not good for on-the-fly changes. 2. the response time is less than impressive. This pedal works well if you want long, held out synth tones. However, if you ever want to play more percussive or faster lines (think Herbie Hancock), this pedal cannot respond. This is a major drawback for me, so I'm going with the EHX...guess I can't get away from analog!
