    I bought the Markbass New York 121 cabinet about 4 months ago to use with my Markbass CMD 121P combo amp. I couldn't be happier. Together, this rig cranks out 500W of power through two 12" speakers (one 12" in my combo amp and one in the New York 121 cabinet). The power, the sound is incredible. And of course this cabinet is so light weight I can carry it in one hand and my CMD 121P amp in the other hand, making set-up and carry-out at the end of the night quick and easy. I can't imagine ever wanting or needing another bass amp.

    I bought this cab after hearing it the the new Markbass Tube 800 head. It made me buy the head even though I was looking for a smaller cab. It is extremely light and sounds great esp. for a more modern sound. If I had two it would handle most gigs. The tweeter is nice because it can create a lot of sizzle or can be dialed down to bring down the highs.
