  • Love this amp

As reviewed by Mick S on 4/19/2011

I upgraded from a GK 800rb to this. The GK as a brick solid workhorse, but tended to have issues from time to time. I bought to use as a practice amp and gig backup. I never imagined that with such a small footprint and the face that it was made by a no-name company in Italy that it would every be a long term option. Well two years later that little 7 lbs of love has saved my back and my sound. Is sounds great no mater which bass I'm using. Reliability has not been a issue at all for me. would definitely buy another.

  • Big tone comes in small packages....

As reviewed by allthebass on 4/4/2011

500W RMS @ 4 ohm in a 5 lb. head? Are you kidding me? Wow, that's impressive, and what's more impressive is the tone. Nice tight bass, versatile eq and I'd swear there's a tube in there if I didn't know better because the tone is on the warm side and not sterile at all. Markbass makes great stuff and just never ceases to impress me, try it with your own ears if you don't believe me.

  • Dynamite Comes In a Small Package

As reviewed by Steve on 4/4/2011

I love this amp and my 55 year old back loves it too. I'm using the F 500 with a 2-10 Traveler on top of a 1-15 Traveler. The sound is great with absolutely no fade when I punch. It is easy to use and has all the necessary features without the extraneous. Simplicity is the art of design. Just plug in and go. On small gigs I simply grab the 2-10 cab. Everyone in the know has been thoroughly impressed by the sound and envious of the light weight. This is the future folks. As a busy part time singer/bass player and a full time chiropractor, I highly recommend this product.
