Keep your Markbass CMD 102P bass speaker protected with this cover made from polyester, foam, and nylon.

I bought the Mark Bass CMD102P recently and, after years of completely abusing a Hartke rig (which, incidentally, never let me down, but was starting to "weigh" on me), I decided to try and take good care of this expensive Mark Bass combo. So, I decided to get a cover and then, in addition, decided to get the manufacturer's cover and pay the extra amount over a third-party cover. GOOD: The cover is of sturdy (so far) material, padded, and looks sharp. BAD: The cover does not fit the combo very well, even though it's supposedly custom made for it. It accommodates the kick-back slant, but awkwardly. The velcro strap mechanism that closes a flap over the slant portion of the combo and keeps the cover on the combo (the cover has no zipper) is not well tailored and does not align properly. Is this problem due to the cover (and its padding) being new and somewhat stiff? Maybe--but that's only a hopeful possible explanation. UGLY: The cover, even if it were able to be fully and properly closed as intended, leaves a lot of exposed area on the combo. It does not cover the bottom of the combo and the openings for the handles remain exposed, with no flap to cover them when not in use. Hard to understand why that feature would not be included at this price. The CMD102P combo is light--that's one of the reasons that I purchased it. So maneuvering a cover that completely encloses the unit would not be that difficult--I do it with PA speakers and monitors all the time. Before plunking down the $$ on this Mark Bass cover, I would check for less expensive, better fitting and better protecting alternatives.
