This padded case is a convenient, protective housing solution for MarkBass' Little Mark II, Little Mark 250, and LMK amp heads. It includes comfortable backpack shoulder straps, carrying handles, and a handy pouch for extras like cables, charts, tuners, etc. The amp can even stay in the bag during use.
the amp bag in question conforms very well to the markbass amp.a close fitting bag with just enough outside zippered pocket space for the power cord and speaker cables. I was able to strap the amp to my back, sling my bass over my shoulder and carry my speaker box to and from the auto.you do not have to take the amp out of the bag to work the amp,simply unzip the front and rear flaps. all vents and fan on amp are exposed.the rear flap has velcro so you can mount this bag on carpet covered speaker boxes.bag is durable with good stitching but not bullet proof.has a handle that is stitched to the bag along with four "D"rings also stitched to the bag that allows you to attach the two provided back straps. has a velcro strap at the back inside that keeps amp nice and snug. If you want to compliment your amp then you need this amp bag.
I tried the laptop idea for a while and it work OK except for the fact that a decent laptop bag cost about just as much and the thickness of the amp was making it difficult to zip shut the bag. The Markbass bag is made for your amp. The amp fit nice and tight in it and what I like the most is the fact that you don't have to take it out of the bag to use the amp and I like the Velcrow on the bag securing it to the Markbass cab. This is not an item that I find absolutely necessary but if you can afford it, get it.
This bag provides a very novel way to store, transport and use your LMII amp. It is designed so that you do not have to removed the head from the bag during use. The amp fits snugly into the bag. When transporting or storing, the front and back flaps are closed with easy working zippers. When the amp is used, the front and back flaps are unzipped and the bag/amp is placed on top of the speaker cabinet. The back flap can be folded under to attach the velcro strip on the inside of the flap can be attached to the speaker cabinet cloth: this works very well with my MarkBass speaker cabinets. Unzipping the flaps gives complete access to the front control panel and the rear connections. It does not block the amp's cooling fan which is located on the back panel. The storage compartment is small, there is room to store speaker cables and the amp power cord, but there is not room for anything else (except a few picks). This bag is well made. I have used it for one month and it appears it will last a very long time.
