  • Marantz is great!

As reviewed by Bross on 10/24/2006

I'm recording interviews in the field for my thesis with this puppy. I love it. I'm a sound idiot and it's easy, light and compact!

  • Hand Held Glory

As reviewed by Gary A. Kabler on 3/31/2009

Right out of the box this Marantz PMD660 Recorder has been perfect for the few things that I needed to immediately need to record with it. The quality of sound it phenomenal - the built in microphones pick up long range with intense clarity. It is advisable to actually read through the handbook when you take the unit out of the box so that you know how to set it for different timings (e.g. 5 minute intervals as opossed to 1 hour intervals) but other than that the unit is perfect.
