The Mapex special edition Black Panther etched stainless steel snare was inspired by the ancient Chinese martial art of Kung Fu. The 5-1/2" x 14" snare drum has a 1mm stainless-steel shell that has been black chrome-plated and then etched with graphics representing the various disciplines of the art of Kung Fu.
The seven symbols that surround the drum represent the arsenal of Kung Fu weaponry: spear, hammer, wand, knife, fist, sword, and bow. In addition to the ornamental steel etching, the batter head of the drum is also emblazoned with the symbols of Kung Fu and the Chinese symbol for black panther in red.
A semi-rigid, padded Black Panther carrying case is included.
