The Mackie Onyx 4880 does it all

By Marty

Comments about Mackie Onyx 4880 Premium 48-Channel Analog Live Sound Console:

My band purchased a Mackie Onyx 4880 about a year ago, we were tired of showing up at venues where the house board/snake had non-working channels, etc. Now, we know what to expect at every show, and our sound engineer loves not having to deal with a new surprise every night! While the console is neither small nor light, moving it in a road case with wheels isn't a big deal. With 48 channels available, the console has plenty of room for us to "grow". The board is very quiet, and holds up to road work extremely well.

AMAZING

Comments about Mackie Onyx 4880 Premium 48-Channel Analog Live Sound Console:

This is the only professional mixer that will make you really confused when you look at it. It has so many features that it gets a little confusing, however, the features are incredible. This Mixer has absolutely wonderful sound quality, and it doesn't creat much feedback. It has 48 channels, and its reasonable for a live performance, church service, or even concerts. It has great quality, doesn't break easily, but it is very heavy. But since its not meant for mobile DJ's or Mobile musicians, i recommend this for someone who wants to settle down and put this in their studio, or a concert hall. Great steel design, and it has a nice slick look to it. Very pricey and targeted to professionals, but well worth the money if you are serious about music.
