Just a simple and great product!! (w/good sound quality)

Comments about Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer:

I'm a synthesist, and I play thru 3 different channels. This mixer is just great for me, because it's super lightweight, have a small footprint, and it sound water-clear. The knobs had a good feel feel, and you almost instantly forget the plastic side panels. I've been reading really bad reviews of this product, but all of them have in common that the user asks for things that this mixer just don't provide (and there isn't any other mixer in this type that will do it). So, for what it is... and how well it perform: A solid 5 out of 5

Comments about Mackie Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer:

I bought it as a spare. So with that said. I did not use it much. After a few months I noticed the power supply was burning hot. Shorty afterwards it just stopped working.

I had to take it back. Maybe it was just that one unit. It did sound good while it worked though.

Comments about Mackie Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer:

I bought this mixer to go with a Tascam DR40 in hopes that it would widen my possibilities. In short it has been a less than stellar unit. The literature included doesn't even mention this unit other than listing it on the first page, so good luck figuring out how to make it do much of anything. I have managed to get limited use from it by working trial and error, but on the whole I would not recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for anything more useful than a paperweight.
