If you're considering this mixer.. go for it!
I use one in my project studio, and it has performed flawlessly.
Mackie has always made dependable products, and maintained a simple to use design, and solid build materials.
You could find a cheaper 14 channel mixer, but if you're serious about recording..Dont skimp on your mixer! Put out the extra bucks for a Mackie, and you'll be glad you did!

so mackie continues on some of the same old same. works well! layout is simular to past models, quality is simular. same backwards knob configures(aux controls above eq knobs). mixer is PRICY, about the only drawback.almost worth spending a few more bucks and just get a 16 channel.
