The MXR CSP105 Vintage '75 Phase 45 pedal reissues the rare little brother of the Phase 90 to exacting specifications. With 2 stages of phasing, the Phase 45 guitar pedal offers up its subtle and musical voice via hand-matched FETs and a hand-wired circuit board.
The MXR Phase 45 phaser pedal is equipped with a bypass footswitch and a speed knob. Rotating the speed knob in a clockwise motion results in a faster phase effect, and turning it counterclockwise slows it down. The MXR phaser pedal is powered by a single 9V battery, accessed by removing the stompbox's bottom plate. Texture your tone without overpowering your sound with the limited-edition Vintage '75 Phase 45 phaser pedal.

If a Phase 90 is too much and a Vibe is not enough, this pedal is for you. Sometimes I wished my Phase 90 wasn't soo swirly and I wished my Vibe had a little more "movement/swirl". This pedal falls somewhere in the middle and it's great. Features:One knob and not AC powered Quality&Reliability:Top-notch components Look&Feel:Handsome and Smooth :)
Not anymore. It might only do one thing, but it does it right. You can get all those warm and creamy classic phase sounds out of this baby.
Yes to that Question. It sounds just like the old one & and has just about the same specs as an old one. Allthough it seems to be a little better built [CTS pots, Swithcraft jacks]Than my old one. It.s not true bypass but still doesn't load down your tone/signal to much if you front end your amp with it. Put it in your effects loop then no worry's. It's tone is realy warm and deep like the old one and not as much noise as my old pedal. A good buy in my book.
Ok, so most people would like alot of knobs and settings to fine tune theyre tone. SO would i but oh my god this phaser is peeeerfect for just about anything. BUt it befroe distortion and it ill give you that subtle rotary like sound in the background. Put it after distortion and WOAH! Youll be Phaseing your head off. So versitile and takes up a small footprint on your board. Im definatly sticking witht his one.
This is the King of Phasers if you ask me!! I own every phaser MXR has made. This is a lot smoother than the Phase 90 and has a nice creamy sound. I use the MXR 74 Reissue Phase 90 and the Phase 45 is a lot smoother. It will be replacing my Phase 90 on my board. Its got a that classic phase sound you've heard on classic country songs! I highly recommend you buy this if you love phaser pedals!!
this pedal looks awesome and sounds awesome :D this was a great idea for the mxr phase pedal . im getting this pedal soon :) i pretty much love every about this pedal even the price
This mxr is just as good if not better than the mrx phase 90, both are vintage handwiring and both posses such a warm classic tone that brings you back to the sounds of the 70s. I use it to play songs like breathe, have a cigar, nobody's fault but mine and its identical. Highly recommend product, go with either the mxr phase 45 or 90 and you wont regret it
