  • Almost perfect.

    I've had this pedal for a few weeks now and really like how works. It basically loops my effects chain and shuts down any noise the pedals are making e.g. overdrive, flange, phaser, etc. The dial is great to adjust as to when you'd like it to shut your system down so it can be used when playing clean to full-on face melt. The only drawback is that it's not instantaneous, though I don't know if anything could be. It shuts off in about a half second. Not bad, I would say. It gets the job done.

  • MXR M195 Noise Clamp VS...

    I tried the MXR M195 noise clamp, Boss ns-2, and the iSP Decimator. The MXR and Boss were ok, but I ended up going with the iSP Decimator. It simply worked better and made my setup completely noise free. The MXR does work well to reduce feedback, but will most likely not make get rid of all noise. It also didn't respond as quickly as the Decimator.

  • Very good gate.

    I bought this pedal to replace my old MXR smart gate, which is a great pedal, but could not eliminate all the noise in my signal without rolling the guitars volume all the way off, especially with overdrive pedals on running into my high gain Bugera 333. I had hoped that because this pedal tracks the guitars signal directly that it would eliminate my noise issues, and i was not disappointed. This pedal, even on the lowest settings, has all but eliminated noise in my rig, although it can effect sustain on extremely high settings, which are almost unneeded with this pedal. The only problem i had was figuring out where the signal went in and out of the pedal at first, but thats mor user error. I have owned this product a couple of weeks, and expect it to last years like all my other dunlop/ MXR pedals have, and would recommend this to anyone with noise troubles. i also couple this with a rocktron hush pedal, and now my rig is silent, SILENT, during muted stops in the songs.
