Marshall mic's

Comments about MXL 2008 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic:

Thanks to Big B. at the Eugene Oregon GC,I got turned on to this amazing little mic.As soon as I had everything run to my mixing console,I laid down about two hours of vocals with the MXL 2008.Not to shabby for the price.Upon playback mode I found that I must have dialed this thing in perfect. The highs were crisp,I had plenty of lows in all the right places.I also used it in front of my Vox V212BN to see if it could handle having about 50 watts thrown at it.My recordings were exceptionally clear and audible. If your on the budget the price won't break you down.I only wish I had sprung for two instead of just the one.Don't take my word for it!Get your cash together and get to your nearest Guitar Center. You won't regret having this little jewell.

A Great Value

By Vern Weygandt

Comments about MXL 2008 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic:

I came into Guitar Center, planning on spending 3X the money for a condenser mic. I was introduced to the 2008 and decided to take a chance, knowing other MXL mics are fine. The end result was epic win. In the first trials, I've recorded vocals for a podcast, four tracks of a trombone quartet and my wife doing a flute track - all VERY crisp. The added bonus for this, is that it came with a shockmount. Win, win , win.
