    I never write reviews, so this must be a good product. I thought the Rode Podcater was the best , but somehow i broke it and had to buy another one. So i decided to purchase the MXL USB.009. Huge difference in clarity. With the Rode, I had to be close to the Mic to pick up the exact sound i needed it to pick up (Vocals)which was sometimes a problem, because of the adjustments needed in my software. The pop filter helped some but not enough and had to adjust the audio setting after i recorded to get the sound i wanted, which was not the natural sound i was looking for. With this Mic, i have the ability to angel myself for different sound effects or distance myself for another effect. i can chage the angls to ound like a chorus or a different background vocalist. Plus with the 24bit studio qualityopposed to the 16bit, the quality is instantaneous and definitely noticable. The gain control are also one of the most important features the others USB Mic dont have. you have to try it to see what i mean. the quality is professional. Invest in a good mic and good headphones (Monitoring)and you will see the difference.
