Not a Neumann, but you can't beat the value!

I was very surprised when I first used this mic. I have used it in Live Sound situations and in the studio and it's a great mic period! It is not as transparent as a lot of the higher priced condensors but it's saturation isn't horrible either. I noticed that it has a lot of boosted high end which works out great for acoustic guitars and female vocals. I also like to use it on my electric guitar when I need a really "defined" sound. It is a very decent overhead mic and actually works fairly well on toms for some reason. I turn to this mic primarily for acoustic guitars.

MXL mic

This mic, for the price is unbeatable. The quality and feel of it isnt sooo great, but compared to others in this price range you cannot beat it. The sound is amazing, again for the price. I personally own this, and I think its a great deal. So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this and do the checkout!

Excellent condenser mic

This mic is perfect for any home studio looking for a multifunctional condenser. This mic is beautiful for vocals and also for acoustic guitars. It picks up such a warm range of sound. I also use it as an overhead mic for a drum kit and that sounds great also. I'd suggest buying this mic along with a pencil or smaller condenser because they really compliment each other well, and the price is unbeatable.
