The MXL MXL 57 1006 is a high-isolation shockmount for the MXL 1006, MXL V67G, and other microphones with bodies greater than 1-7/8".
An MXL57 shockmount was included with my MXL V63M mic, and I love it! It?s durable, fits my mic perfectly, and eliminates unwanted noises from entering the mic via the mic stand. The MXL57 easily screws onto the threaded end of a mic stand or boom. This is a must for recording applications; and I definitely would?ve purchased this separately, had it not been included in the mic package.
