Overview

The Oxygen 25 USB/MIDI Keyboard Controller delivers next-generation functionality from M-Audio, an innovator in mobile music production technology. The 25-key Oxygen 25's control surface features eight assignable knobs, plus dedicated transport and track select buttons. DirectLink mode automatically maps these controls to common DAW functions including transport, mixer, track pan, and plug-in parameters. Built-in factory presets offer support for popular virtual instruments right out of the box so there's no complicated setup required. Velocity-sensitive keys and a sleek, compact design round out a portable keyboard that's perfect for laptop production, live DJ performance, triggering samples, or composing on the go. No other MIDI controller in this price range has so much functionality while remaining easy to use and extremely portable.

Streamlined Session Control:
Featuring eight assignable knobs, a programmable slider, dedicated transport controls, and track up and down buttons, the M-Audio Oxygen 25 gives you total control over your session, allowing you to stay engaged in the creative flow of recording and mixing music rather than being interrupted by the constant back and forth between a QWERTY keyboard and a MIDI controller. DirectLink mode automatically maps Oxygen 25 controls to common DAW parameters while factory presets provide instant mapping to popular virtual instruments including Xpand!2, Hybrid, Velvet, Strike, Oddity, ImpOSCar, and MiniMonsta. Use the dedicated select buttons to quickly switch MIDI channels and presets for tactile control over multitimbral hardware and software instruments. Interfacing a MIDI controller with your music software doesn't get any easier than this.

Professional Quality MIDI Keyboard Controller:
M-Audio is a pioneer in the category of mobile MIDI keyboard controllers. Thanks to continued innovation over the course of nearly a decade, you'll find that the Oxygen 25 controller has a solid, reliable build and puts as much musicality into the keyboard as it does into the complement of other MIDI controls.

Pro Tools Compatible:
The Oxygen 25 MIDI controller offers out-of-the-box integration with Pro Tools software, which is the industry-standard DAW found in professional, project, and personal studios around the world. With DirectLink, the Oxygen 25 controls instantly map to key parameters on the Pro Tools Mixer, Edit and Transport windows, as well as the powerful suite of virtual instruments bundled with Pro Tools. Together, Oxygen 25 and Pro Tools software provide streamlined workflow in a formidable system with tons of interface options and industry-standard file compatibility.

Ultra-Compact Design:
The Oxygen 25 keyboard packs an amazing amount of control for DAWs and soft synths into an incredibly small footprint. There's always room for it even in the most crowded desktops, efficient stage rigs or compact studios. It's also the perfect complement to your laptop for making music anywhere inspiration strikes, whether relaxing on the couch, writing on a plane, or jamming on a tour bus. With the M-Audio Oxygen 25 MIDI controller, you can carry your entire mobile laptop studio in a shoulder bag.

The M-Audio Oxygen 25 is THE definition of portability and functionality in a stylish package. It is small enough to throw in a backpack, yet packs the punch of larger-sized keyboards in its compact, yet comfortably accessible layout. For the price, the Oxygen 25 cannot be beat. The synth-action keys are highly responsive; the pitch bend and mod wheel feel solid, although the pitch bend wheel is a little too quick for my tastes. I got used to it after a while though. The knobs have JUST enough resistance to be precise during crucial moments, yet loose enough to throw them into full effect when necessary. I have been using the Oxygen 25 with Propellerhead Reason for 4 months now, and it has blended seamlessly into my workflow. As an amateur producer with limited space in my studio, this product is a godsend. Get one now!

Yeh, it's cheap. It's build quality is rough. It's not pretty. It's bulky... but this controller has saved me more time than any of the others. I have owned Korg's, Novations, Akai's and all of them are a terrible pain to program when you are switching programs. But, a drop of 5" onto a wood floor was enough to render this Oxygen 25 useless. I've dropped my Novation 25sl 5', and it still won't program properly with AutoMap. (But it still turns on)

Portable and Mighty

By Ted Morris

from Valparaiso, IN

The keys have a great feel, same with the knobs and single fader style slider, the LED display doesn't tell you much, but is useful for choosing presets and the like, it's got all the functions you would expect and they work great integrated into pro tools. An Awesome deal for an awesome device!

WONDERFUL!

By Ted Morris

from Valparaiso, IN

What a gadget! Bought it on sale for $74, what a deal! Programmable knobs are great, have a very great feel to them, too bad there is only one slider, but use as a volume control works fine. It's so light and durable, I can through it in a backpack and go! Wonderful device for producing beats on the go! Small footprint makes it perfect for use in or out of the studio! Highly recommend!

Small, mobile and creative

By AXD

from San Diego, CA

I always wanted a small MIDI controller because my first was a M-Audio key station 49 and i enjoyed it but dislike that i wasn't able to flow like i am with the new Oxygen 25! The knobs and Transport are perfect especially with direct link to software like REASON! I love this so much that i purchased the M-Audio Studio pack carry all for this controller and future laptop that i will be purchasing! If you want mobile studio this is a way to go especially when using REASON!

Great little keyboard

By Colin

from Philadelphia, Pa

I love this thing! I bought it so I could do some synth work in my dorm while away from the studio. It has been great. The programming features allow me to fully control Cubase, which is awesome. It's so small that I can take it and my laptop outside and make beats. All in all, a great purchase.

By Michael Hamilton

The Oxygen 25 is a great controller. I would recommend it to anyone, from beginner to professional. Its small footprint fits on any desk and it's built solidly. The transport controls are very helpful along with the knobs and fader to control daw functions. there isn't anything bad to say about this controller. check this out along with the oxygen 49 (if you want more keys) they're great!

Midi at your fingertips

By Matt P.

from Everett, WA

I was trying to program drums and keys in the DAW programs. It is so hard to try and click with a mouse. I bought this for the price and wow. So easy to use. With my Mac it automatically installs the drivers necessary to use it. Very easy to use and functional as well. Rotary knobs are great to map in your DAW program. Highly recommended!
