Works Great

By DOMO

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

Just got this pedal a few weeks ago. It works great! I use it to control the effects on my zoom multi effects guitar pedal. Seems sturdy and is a lot cheaper than guitar expression pedals.

DO NOT BUY

By mark B

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

I bought this pedal about 2 weeks ago and was using it with a voodoo labs ground control. the pedal was set up as a boost pedal and wah control. It just stopped working after 2 weeks. It is poorly constructed and fragile to say the least. Its all plastic, even the arm that moves the pot inside is plastic. This pedal is not made for working musicians. buyer beware

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

poorly made, failed after two weeks, not for working musicians. If you play live gigs... DO NOT COUNT ON THIS PEDAL TO PERFORM. the internal parts are all plastic.

Good for the money, a little flimsy.

By Angelo Bellezza

from NY, NY

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

I reluctantly bought this because after trying several pedals, this one seems to be the only pedal that works well with the M-Audio Keystation series. It has a smooth feel and works well. I do feel like it might not last a long time because it is flimsy plastic and kind of on the "cheap" side of things. However, for the price, I can't complain much.

Unreliable

By Nicholas Bechly

from Minneapolis, MN

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

When I first bought my Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro I was looking for an expression pedal to control volume directly through the midi controller. All of the other expression pedals were close to double the price so I was thinking ?hey sweet deal?. It worked well for practice but I noticed that for no reason whatsoever when the pedal was in the ?max? position the sound would cut out. As a stage performer that is a big problem because I trust in my equipment to get the job done. As far as design goes its light weight and small making it easy to transport. On the other hand is entirely plastic making a terrible road pedal. If you are looking at this for a practice pedal it wouldn?t be bad. As far as performing get something a little more durable.

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

Overall, it does exactly what I wanted and need it to do. Not sure I'd depend on the build for night after night professional gigging, but for what I do at home, it will probably last forever!

    Not for Stage Performers.

    By Dan Amos

    from Baltimore

Comments about M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal:

This pedal should be for Home use and studio use only. It's specifically for M-Audio Keystations. I tried a better pedal from Yamaha and it wasn't compatible with the M-Audio 88 key midi controller. I read the tech forums and they said that you want to stay all M-Audio with their products. Do I like that? No.. It doesn't give me much lee way for picking add ons for my keyboard. But for HOME USE, the pedal is great. I don't rate it 5 stars because the yamaha pedal seemed much nicer for only 10 dollars more. But I do rate it 4 stars because it is good for what I do. Home studio recording with an M audio keyboard. If you are not using an M-audio keystation then this may not work right. Also this pedal seems more plastic then metal so I can see why stage performers have issues with it. so again. if you have an M-audio keyboard and are using it for home use only then this pedal is for you.
