Maybe it Was a Dud?

By Hometwitch

from Ft. Worth, Tx

Our band has a M-Audio Interface that we couldn't be happier with so I was excited when I bought this mic; but when I got this mic home I plugged it in and nothing happened. It would pick up me tapping it and moving the mic stand but not vocals or an instrument. I have a sufficient phantom power supply and my old mic still works fine so I know our equipment isn't the cause. As far as first experiences go this mic was very disappointing. I still like M-Audio products but I can't recommend a product that didn't work.
