Does the job

I owned one of these for a year and was very happy with it. I bought it to do a few recordings in Garageband and Finale. It worked great until just a few months ago when the Midi IN stopped working. I tried a bunch of different midi cables and keyboard before concluding that it was the interface. Even with these problems, I still went ahead and bought another one of these. I have a buddy who has owned his for almost three years now and he has never had a problem. While it may not be the best interface out there, for the price its well worth it.

this is the audio with just the stuff you need

This audio interface is the ideal interface for new musicians, or musicians who dont want to blow big bucks on something to record. The microphone is the most important tool in recording not the audio interface. This tool gives releif to musicians who pay good money for a mic. A good mic can be anywhere from the low hundreds to the thousands of dollars, and no one should pay hundreds of dollars for a device just to record. This is why I think anyone sholud get this simple but great audio interfcae.
