The M-Audio SP-1 Sustain Pedal is perfect for any application that requires a non-latching momentary switch. Compatible with all electronic keyboards.
This pedal broke after 3 gigs. I opened up the pedal to see if it could be fixed. The arm in charge of creating the electrical contact is a piece of flimsy plastic. I try to avoid any pedal that contains plastic...the metal shell is a red herring...the switch in this pedal is brittle. Don't buy if you need reliability.

If you want a simple sustain pedal and don't want to spend loads of money then this product is the right for you. As a keyboardist and a vocalist for the band I am in I always have a hard time with those fancy sustain pedals when I'm trying to quickly change from one setting to the other. But with this pedal it is big and easy to put your foot on. I would definitly recomend this pedal for your use.

I needed a new pedal fast after breaking my last one during practice. I didnt have alot of money at the time, so I figured that this would be enough to get my through the gig. I still use it to this day! Its very durable, the cord is a bit longer than some, and it does what a sustain pedal is meant to do. Sustain! Why spend $50-$100 on another pedal that looks just like this? This will sustain perfectly and has yet to fail me.
