  • Simple Title

    These headphones are great. M audio did a good job designing these. The closed backed sound is fantastic. Different better by means a great bass response, it is killer. The only problem with these is that they hurt your ears after a while, wearing them on your ears, i dont mean sound but wearing them. The cushion on them is very thin. But i guess after a while you get use to the feeling.

  • Very Dynamic

    I love this headset and all it has to offer. This headset was the successor to my Bose headset, and I must say that the M-Audio Q40's are far supirior. They have accurate & powerful bass response. The frequency response is very crisp and accurate as well. I also like the fact that they have a replaceable cord. Soon I'll be getting M-Audio monitors.

  • One thing can ruin everything

    I own M-Audio's AV 40's and they are awesome!!! So I had no hesitation to buy these headphones. I got them in the mail and I have now had them for a week. The sound that comes out of these are amazing. You could never have to little base. The base could almost be brought down. Sadly I am deciding to return these headphones though. I am returning them because they hurt my jaw after 5 min. of use. It could just be the size of my head. They still deserve a four star rating because the sound was just amazing. Knowing M-audio and their lead in the pro audio world, they will most likely update the ear foam or the design itself. If your interested in buying these, buy them and if they don't work just return them. I ended up going with Bose QuietComfort 15 which were 300!! dollars. But they are definitely comfortable, but the M-Audio headphones out do the base in the bose hands down.
