Don't buy this! I got this to use for my live rig thinking that it was gonna be awesome and boy was I let down! M-audio has really crappy drivers and there is a really bad latency problem. Very inconvenient! M-audio really needs to fix this problem!
I bought this just so I can update my MFC-101 used with my Axe Fx II. I have a first generation iMac using OS 10.6.8. Using this and a single Monster MIDI cable I also purchased, I plugged the unit in to my iMac, then powered on the MFC. Firmware update done. Happy camper. No special anything to use. I doubt that I will use it for musical instruments, but you never know, so I can't say that I used the unit under demanding conditions, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
I recently broke the USB port of my midi keyboard, so i hooked it up through my MidiSport 2X2 and my keybord is lagging... It responds like 5 seconds after I press a key... Does anyone have a solution?
