  • great for the price

As reviewed by fg on 4/5/2010

I'd give this 5 stars but the durability of this equipment in a little questionable, particularly the USB port. The keys and everything else have been great. While you do generally get what you pay for, this unit is more than worth the price!

  • Good for the price

As reviewed by Evan on 8/5/2010

The KeyRig 49 is a great MIDI controller for the composer/electronic musician on a budget. If you're a piano/keyboard player, the unweighted keys will always be frustrating. Works well, however, and is rather durable (I have heard of people's volume sliders coming off). I recommend this controller as more of a temporary fix than a permanent studio solution... if you're looking for something more long-term, I suggest looking at the Axioms. Definitely good for the price!

  • Good, for what it is

As reviewed by Eli on 3/25/2011

If you're a keyboardist/pianist you'll hate it. If you're a producer on a budget this is a great tool. If you're a producer on a higher budget. Go for an axiom (pro). Great tool thought!
