  • Great for beginners

As reviewed by DJ_NatE on 10/9/2006

I am a DJ currently recording mixes and mixtapes and I got started with this interface. For the money this will get you started in no time. Instalation was a bit tricky but once it started working; besides it being fun I was really happy with it. It is a great Audio Interface for beginners. If you have lots of inputs or various types of devices, you might want something a little bit more "pro". But its great for basic recording, weather your a DJ, a Producer or a gutairest, I think You'll enjoy this interface very much

  • Great piece of equipment!

As reviewed by Kristofuh on 9/22/2006

Bought this thing out of desperation. Was getting a low level background hiss running the mixer through the sound card and at my wits end bought this interface. WOW! Absolutely NO background artifact and amazing recording clarity. Easy to set up easy to use. Bought it thinking I would be returning it... no way! I'm keeping this baby!

  • Very good... but not that good.

As reviewed by Nepthali77 on 2/19/2007

I got this interface at my local Gutar Center and a couple of days after using it, I kinda thought that my options were kinda limited here and the price was kinda too much even when I found no problems at all, everything was smooth and excellent. The only thing that I notice is that if you want to record vocals and you want to hear yourself on the headphones, well forget about it because is not gonna happen. So, for $100.00 Dls. more, I upgraded to the Alesis Mutimix12, and it works wonders. So far I have no complaints, the set up was kinda tricky but if you are into computers and audio, you'll figure it out. But in my point of view I recomend Alesis over the firewire solo, and the Alesis is Firewire too.
