  • Rock Solid

As reviewed by Fat Dog Studio on 3/16/2009

I upgraded from a delta 44 to a Tascam USB Audio card. The Tascam was nothing but problems. I sold it and bought the Delta 1010 set up and haven't had a single issue with it. The thing is rock solid. Easy to setup and install. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with M-Audio.

  • Best sound for your money

As reviewed by Pedro Bossio on 5/2/2007

The sound quality is pristine when used with high-end audio cables such as Mogami or Monster. I've used two Deltas for six years and have done hundreds of productions with great results. The one thing I've felt that M-Audio can improve on is in simplifying the driver set-up. It's very complex and dreadful to re-install. Workable instructions to configure delta drivers are available on forums on the web, not in their manuals.

  • Best sounding recording module!

As reviewed by jacqueslilavois on 9/26/2006

I record using the M Audio Delta 1010 and my computer and get studio quality results. Keep in mind, this is only a recording interface. If you're looking for an all-in-one unit with mic preamps and instrument inputs, go with something like the FirePod. I prefer the Delta 1010 because it gives the flexibilty to use my own preamps, which means less components in the signal chain, which means less noise and better sounding recordings. Also, this is 24bit, 96k. The highest resolution you can get. If you're serious about recording, get the Delta 1010.
