This is a super gitfiddle. Looks stunning, sings like a bird, nice easy action. Sure, it's not a Martin (but from 5 feet, this is actually prettier than most guitars) The finish is a little rough, when compared to a grand piano, but it looks awesome hanging on the wall.
With the electrics, you can plug in, and play hard rock (yes, of course it will feed back, but it sounds good and toothy!), or delicate acoustic.
No problems keeping in toon, my only mod was adding a clear scratch guard below the strings, as this guitar seems to appreciate aggressive strumming.
I've played off and on for a couple-three decades, my friends who are also guitar geniuses love it too.

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Update: The A string at 9th fret is buzzing. The D string sounds like a screen door that rattles and my patience is leaning to the return desk pronto. Frustrated to say the least. I need quality sound and this isn't it. Should of paid a little more for a keeper.

The guitar is great but the photo does not show the true color. The guitar that I received was very light. Not dark like in the photo. I wish I would've looked at them in person before ordering.

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this about a year ago, a time when I knew nothing about guitars, so I went off looks. I originally had an Epiphone d100, I think, and I broke that by accident, looked for another acoustic. This one popped out from the rest given the beautiful design, and at first I liked it, not so much now though. The action is way to high, neck is to wide, maybe some like it that way, but for others like me, I don think reccomend. So don't be fooled by the looks, it's not as great sounding as it looks.

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been looking at this guitar for a bit, and finally found one that was right in all the right places: good straight neck and fingerboard, no "vampire" frets sticking out, nicely set action, straight soundboard and all around good construction integrity. You do get what you pay for: this is an inexpensive guitar intended for students and players who might give it a try for a bit, and then give up. I suspect many of these guitars are sitting in closets gathering dust. If you do your homework, you can end up with a very nice one. This one is just what I was looking for. It has a deep, rich sound and good tone. It's really optimized for strumming, although a really good guitar player could play anything on it. The onboard electronics are decent, and it sounds great through my Fishman amp. I would spend some time at your favorite Guitar Center store and keep checking them until you find "the one." I'm totally pleased: for less than the cost of a couple of amusement park passes, I have a great little axe that should be around for a while.

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for a couple years now and finally decided to get my own acoustic. After looking around for a couple weeks, I settled on this Luna guitar. The guitar, on the outside, is ridiculously beautiful. The design on the front is impressive and elegant and the phases of the moon inlays are a really nice touch. I brought this thing out to my first gig and got a lot of compliments!
The guitar plays beautifully as well. The tone is very bright and pleasant and sounds a ton better than I expected from such a cheap guitar. The electric pick ups work wonderfully, and the adjustment knobs on the guitar itself allow for a wide range of sounds from the guitar. I paired this with an Acoustic AG 30 and it sounds great at home and in auditorium performances.
I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone!

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was looking for a guitar with a cutout and pickup/preamp that also had decent acoustic tone. After playing some more expensive guitars, I tried the Luna and was pleasantly surprised. The basic tone is great, warm and not tinny like so many other guitars. It felt good to play, which is important to me because I'm older and don't have the grip that I used to have. After the purchase, I decided to fix some things and make it better. I added tusq end pins, saddle and nut, which made it sound incredible. I did have to replace the cheap tuning machines because it would go out of tune constantly.I found that the tuners were a little loose in the holes and the new tuners improved the tone still more. I also added a Planet Waves O-Port and, BAM, great tone and projection for not a lot of money. The improvements cost money, but I ended up with a beautiful sounding guitar for far less than a much more expensive unit.

Comments about Luna Guitars Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Don't let the price fool you! This is a great Luna guitar. She's got stunning looks and beautiful tone/sounds. Unplugged or w/amp this guitar plays amazing for a "lower end model".
I have had this guitar for almost a week now with no issues or problems.
People are impressed with this guitar by the looks and sound. I tried other guitars including a few multi hundred to multi-thousand dollar brands with same body type and this Luna Gypsy Spalt Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric, sounded just as great or better than most and can hold her own, up against most other quality made guitars! I knew nothing about Luna guitars before this purchase but, I simply could not resist her looks and after having her in my hands. Very happy I found and now own this beautiful Luna Gypsy Spalt guitar.
