Overview

This Ludwig Classic Series Hybrid snare features 1/16" inner and outer plies of American red oak and a core of three maple plies for a thinner shell that offers well-rounded attack, musical overtones and a quicker, yet full resonance. To draw further resonance from this unique hybrid, a dual-cut 45-degree bearing edge is pulled toward the center of the shell to seat perfectly into the head.

This snare is fitted with 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, a side throwoff and a configuration of ten standard lugs.
