The LB-419B is, in my ,the best sounding snare drum that has ever been produced. This Stellar 1920s design has been copied by every major drum manufacturer over the past 80 plus years, with none even coming close to duplicating the legendary sound it produces. More expensive than some studio quality drum kits but worth every penny and built to outlast us all. (Get a Padded Hard Case and Use it!) Once you Own one, Play one, Hear one, The Hunt for the ever elusive ultimate snare drum is over. There is only One snare drum that even comes close to sounding as good, and that's Its cousin the LM-411. One of the best traits is the ease of dialing it in, Like a Thoroughbred Racehorse it is extremely sensitive to the wide varience of heads and tuning ranges and it is vitually impossible to tune it wrong. Words cant even begin to describe how good this snare is, you have to experiece it. Even the looks of it will stop you dead in your tracks, It's Stunning.
