Ludwig Atlas Pro Pedal ROCKS!!!

By

from Willimantic, CT

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Pro Bass Drum Pedal:

I tried a lot of Pro pedals over the years and when I had the chance to try this new pedal, I fell in love with it. SMOOTH, easy setup, quick mounting, rock-solid construction and REALLY FAST! What more could I ask for? I also own a Pearl Eliminator which has served me very well. It too is versatile, fast and smooth. I also bought (and use) a Gibraltar Intruder pedal that is a thing of beauty as well and a joy to use. But comparing the build quality, Ludwig blows away the competition. I am VERY happy with this purchase.

I'm Glad I Made the Change Over

By

from Atlanta,Ga

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Pro Bass Drum Pedal:

I saw the new Pro line of hardware from Ludwig sometime back and came across this pedal. I'm a owner and big fan of the Ludwig Legacy classic kits and was wanting to convert all hardware over to Ludwig provided they were better than in the past. My first attempt to make it all look Ludwig was trying the Atlas Pro pedal. I'm mad crazy about how this pedel works with me playing. This is one smooth, but not to overly smooth pedal. It has all the options for adjusting but mine was almost spot on out of the box. The beater is fantastic, very solid. Super reactions to all actions. The beater can keep moving about 5 or 6 times after the return and you let your foot off. I think this is because of the Bearing-Pivotal Spring that pivots with the spring. I Never thought that would make a difference but it does. Overall, this is a pro line pedal and the quality is great. I tip my hat to Ludwig for making this the best pedal I've tried and now own. Forget all you know about any kick pedal and at least give yourself the best chance to succeed with your feet.

Great Pedal

By

from Northampton PA

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Pro Bass Drum Pedal:

I got 2 of the pedals about a week ago and I was just blown away. I previously had Yamaha Flying Dragons and could keep up with the other speed metal guys but these Ludwigs are so smooth and quick- I easily can go faster. The design is nice and sturdy and the rocking spring helps play alot longer. The Heelplate spurs are a nice edition to stop from sliding. Overall its a great pedal for any genre of music- hits hard and is real smooth.
