The Ludwig LM449THB Modular Drum Throne with Back has a double-braced, fully adjustable design with an oversize, bicycle-style padded seat.
as an active player with lower back strain..this partictular seat with the back support gives me the right amount of support needed. it allows me to utilize my legs without utilizing my lower back muscles when playing double bass. the swivel feature makes for a quick and easy height adjustment. constructed very well. i would and will recommend this product.

Very comfortable. Standard thrones cut off circulation in my legs and midsection for some reason. This one rocks. Very comfortable and the support is amazing....I can play for hours now. This is a must have for sure.

The seat cushion is very comfortable - soft but sturdy. And it had a great quilting job that makes it contoured to your butt so you can sit without getting so tired. The back support is just right, not too rigid, not too springy. It's also good looking.

The back rest seems feeble and it's not even near at a 90 Degree angle...it's more like 120-130 degrees, which makes you feel like you are sitting on a recliner or sofa. You cant play drums like this! Do not get this one. I am returning it today!
