This snare drum rocks

I owned this snare drum back in the mid 70s($250) and should have never sold it with my set. I'm currently getting to buy another one. i've spoken of this snare for many years to different people. Some 30 years later I'd still rate it as #1 in the drum world. show me something better if you can.

Great sounding, high quality drum.

I have owned one of these drums for 10 years, and it can keep up with the best. It is a very versatile drum that can be used for any style of music and sound perfect every time. No extra muffling need on this drum if tuned right. I also own several other snares including maple and steel snares and they don't compare. This is one of the best snare drums out there. As quality goes my father got it in the 70's, and then gave it to me in 96, and the only things ever replaced in this drum is the heads. The price might seem high but once you hear one you'll realize that it sounds better than most of those other drums that sell for over $1,000.
