I was concerned about the price of this guitar, I was not sure I would get something good for such a low price. I have played classical guitar for many years but never had the chance of buying a rosewood guitar before and I was very exited. So I went to the store, touched it, played it, I loved the sound and quality. That was about 6 months ago, I saw the review of the exploded one and I went to check mine immediately. It was fine. I recently changed the strings for a low tension ones, they sound magnificent. I live in Tennessee which is very humid, but I haven't had any problem, I think he had bad luck.
This guitar was such a disappointment. I bought it because I liked the feel and the pickup sounded pretty good. After playing it at home, I more noticed a buzz I thought might be indicative of classicals as this was my first of this kind of acoustic. I shrugged it off. A few days later I came home to find the guitar had EXPLODED! The bridge had burst off the body and was hanging in my humidified room, tethered to the strings like a hangman's noose (cue dramatic music). Horrified was an understatement. I brought the guitar to a repair shop for a re-gluing. I thought the dry climate in Colorado was an initial suspect, but the repairman said the glue applied in the factory was the cheapest adhesive he'd ever seen. I paid him and brought the guitar home. The next day I realized the buzz had turned to a roar and was convinced the repairman had made an error in the repair. I brought the guitar back to him and he noticed there was a loose brace in the body of the guitar which he referred to as a "manufacturer's defect" which was likely to have been a culprit in the EXPLOSION. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any clue of Luceros warranty until I had already had the guitar repaired which voided it. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for.
