Rich, responsive tones for the serious guitarist.

The Lovepedal Superlead packs thick, cranked British stack tone into a user-friendly, 3-knob pedal. Turn the gain down for a tough, percussive chunk, or crank it for singing, liquid lead tones with sustain for days.

A two-position Mid switch offers your choice of boosted mids for a thicker sound or a more open voicing that lets the tone breathe. Whatever setting you choose, the Superlead delivers impeccable tone that responds to every nuance of your picking.

Lovepedal products have received praise from world-class artists like Scott Henderson, Andy Summers and Lenny Kravitz.

Lovepedal Superlead Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal Features:

  • Boutique designed

  • It's an AWESOME pedal, BUT.....

As reviewed by Michael Allen on 8/16/2011

The description that Sean Michael (the inventor of "Love Pedal") uses to describe the "Superlead" is in fact, misleading. In my humble opinion this pedal in no way sounds like a "plexi" in tone. I use a standard strat through a stock Mark II Marshall head and cab and already can dial in a pretty convincing classic Hendrix and AC/DC tone with no help from a stompbox at all...the Superlead is quite a bit more aggresive than a Plexi. It absolutely nails 80's rock tones (Ratt, Dokken, etc.) It's a FANTASTIC pedal for an aggresive JCM800(ish) lead tone. It does NOT sound fuzzy in any way and cleans up nicely when you back the guitar volume down. If old school 80's shred is the tone your looking for , there is not a Boss pedal that's going to do it like this guy! For what I was looking for it is absolutely perfect but if you seek genuine "plexi" tone ala Hendrix, this is not the pedal I would recommend. I would have given the pedal 5 stars but I took one away because the description of the pedal is not accurate. In those of you giving this pedal one star and/or saying a DS-1 sounds better, shame on you. Perhaps you need more experience in tone chasing. This is a GREAT pedal and everyone should at least check one out. There is deffinitely a place for the Superlead Lovepedal.

  • Are you kidding me?

As reviewed by ATTILA K on 10/14/2011

I normally do not spend time writing reviews unless there is something out therr that people should avoid getting snagged on. Something really crappy. I can't possiblt understand, though, rating this pedal as anything but a 5+. I've had mine only a few months, but after years of trial and error (mostly error), I've fallen into the perfect box to round out my lead tone. It's simple, straight forward and brilliantly responsive, no matter what tone I try to emulate or create. I will admit it's a bit more than needed to re-create classic hendrix fuzz, but most of us can do that with our onboard gain and drive these days. I've used this trough my Roland jc-120, Hot rod deluxe, even a beat up old gorilla. Whether it's single coil noiseless or EMG humbuckrers. This Superlead can play nice and dirty with all the kids in the sandbox. 1 Star?

  • The Perfect Pedal

As reviewed by Kelly McDonald on 2/7/2011

I wanted to wait until I had ample time playing this pedal before I wrote a review. Okay, here goes: When I first bought it I was a bit afraid, this pedal weighs nothing. It's by far the lightest pedal in my arsenal. I plugged it in and MAN was I blown away with the thing. You can go from very slightly dirty to almost distortion. When you rock the mid switch, it turns your amp into a Marshall Half Stack. It's really amazing (not necessary for country mind you) but it sure is fun to play with. For that reason, don't be surprised if you start playing AC/DC when you get it. LOL
