  i just got this pedal a couple days ago and it plays great right out of the box you can get an eric johnson type echo from this and still get a great Edge delay for U2 songs. I like how it has the boost dial so you can stomp on this to get some extra volume for solos. the modulation sounds pretty cool, note that its the delay, not the origional signal that gets modulated so this isnt a 2 for 1 pedal or anything. another great thing about this pedal is the size, this isnt like a big muff that takes up your whole pedal board, i have a decent sized pedal board and can fit about 10 of these pedals on there. overall, this is a warm, vintage sounding echo that gives you a long range of delays and echoes and doesnt take up your whole pedal board. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a delay pedal but more specifically, someone that has limited pedalboard space, needs a versatile delay pedal, and needs a good way to boost for solos. Ive had this pedal for two days now and so far no complaints

• Excellent tape echo sound

  The tape echo sound met my expectations and the small size was a bonus. Controls offer a lot of sound options. Modulation is nice but I wish it had more usable sound at the ccw end of the control and less wacky sound at the cw end. Mine came with no instructions or warranty paper. The input/output jacks are not marked. No problem, set up like an MXR pedal. Power jack not marked. This was a bigger issue until Guitar Center Support confirmed polarity and voltage. I highly recommend this pedal if you are looking for a tape echo sound and price is a factor.

  I just picked this up after a guitar center employee actually recommended it...this was unbiased as I am around them a lot. OK. The one comment hits it on the eric johnson type sound right out of the box. It also adds a nice extra little boost to my drive. I play it in combination with a bbe green screamer and it perfectly compliments playing yngwie. Clean wise I think it can do almost everything you'd expect. Compared to the boss delay, its about the same price with a much more natural sound. I will honestly say my leads sound like studio quality with this pedal and that is with a bugera V22 with a celestion upgrade.
