I have been using Livewire cables for a while now and they are great! I use the 18ft. and despite the length, you dont lose an ounce of sound. You will not get a buzzing or crackling noise from these cables. But the best part is, that when one breaks you take it back to the store and you get a new one, for FREE!

The oxymoron cable: Tough but not gigworthy.

(Disregard the rating. It gets a 5 for functionality but falls flat for other reasons.) I have the 18.5-foot cord and it's great. Great price, and definitely the most reliable cable...Read complete review

(Disregard the rating. It gets a 5 for functionality but falls flat for other reasons.) I have the 18.5-foot cord and it's great. Great price, and definitely the most reliable cable I've ever had in the way of signal transmission. Too many cords these days start to sound like Rice Krispies after just moderate use, but not this one. I've had mine for a little over 3 years and 8 months and it has yet to make a single sound other than my playing. I feel uneasy using other people's cords cause I know that at any given time I'll lose signal without warning. Not this one. If you're using this cord and you hear any snap, crackle, or pop, it's your guitar. That being said, there is one major drawback. Something that could very well be a deal breaker. If you want to do some recording with this thing, great. If you're sitting down and playing, you're golden. But if you move around at all (and I mean AT ALL) this thing will twist in ways that will defy logic and challenge the laws of physics. It seriously has a mind of its own. I think if you stare at it hard enough, it will start twisting on its own. It's THAT bad. It works great but so often I have to unplug and straighten it out, which is not something I ever want to do -- especially during a show. You decide.

Nice cable

I don't need very expensive cable to jam around the house. I got the angled 10 foot one for a Les Paul. Great buy!

I bought this with the 90 degree angle to use with my Ovation which has the in put on the back and it works great. This is a quality cable for a great price.

poor quality

By RAMON VALENZUELA

from El Paso TX

I bought a 15 ft angled cable but only worked 2 months. I used on a Gibson SG but in the last weeks I started to heard a lot of noises. I had a cheaper cable that last more than 10 years...Live wire is not an excellent brand

fine quality - right price

By Richard Henze

for some instruments the right angle connector is much more practical (at the base of an acoustic guitar or mandolin). Sale price at GC combined with ship to store makes this an easy call. I've found these to be robust & no problems.

keeps cord out of the way

By john matacola

from phx, az

These are great if you like to incorporate some air guitar moves when you play with the real ones. I like to tie it up on the strap and it keeps the wires from catching

Great cables

I bought and angled-straight for the end of my pedal train. Live Wire makes the best cables for your money. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my bass guitar and it works great. I just slide it through the strap and it stays connected to my bass.
