simple and effective

Comments about Live Wire LWS21 Universal Latching Footswitch:

the switch works great and is priced nice. I only have 1 minor complaint and that is with the length of the chord. I use it with a Fender Super Bassman on an 810 cab. Because of the height of my system, the switch just reaches the floor with no room to position it much. I am sure it is fine for use with other systems that are not as tall.

Works, basically

Comments about Live Wire LWS21 Universal Latching Footswitch:

I received the Live Wire LWS21 Universal Latching Footswitch and immediately noticed the cable was far shorter than what I needed, at least half the cable length of what the Marshall footswitch came with. So for stage use and accessibility, I'd have to give it 2 stars, but as for stepping on the button and it switching channels, I haven't had any problems. On that, I'd give it a 5. Overall, I rank it a 3. I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

No frills and reliable

Comments about Live Wire LWS21 Universal Latching Footswitch:

It's a single button foot switch for $20. it does it's job and does it well. Better than replacing a Marshall, Fender or Boogie foot switch for $80. That's for sure.

not good

By

from Bflo NY

Comments about Live Wire LWS21 Universal Latching Footswitch:

I guess it technically works, but somehow causes a slight volume drop and tone change. Not for the better. The fist one I got was deformed and didn't sit flat, so I returned it. The second one was slightly misshaped and had same issues as the first one. Maybe ok for a little practice amp, but overpriced for what it is. I'd recommend choosing a different switch.
