I recently bought a new Takamine acoustic-electric. As with all acoustic-electrics that I have played, its jack only accepts mono - not stereo. So when I plugged in an adapter from a 1/4" instrument cable to a 3.5mm stereo jack (to plug into my of my cd player/radio), the sound would not come through. I figured the stereo adapter was the problem - and this is the solution. For anyone with the same problem I had, this here is the Holy Grail for acoustic-electric players.
