Purchased a new wireless set for the J Bass. Became tired of tripping over cable. The wireless unit works great. The plug sticking out of the bass was not acceptable. Converting the well constructed unit to one with a right angle plug could mean limitations on other instruments. Then I discovered the heavy duty adapter at GC. Challenge met. Highly recommend this well built adapter
I have a couple Ibanez Guitars one RG 570 and one RG 7321 7 String. Both have output jacks on the side/Bottom which with straight Cables puts the cable in a bad position when sitting and practicing. Since I have a few Cables already that are straight I could not see spending more money on a new cable with a angled end so I decided to try this item and it works great. The plug is just long enough to keep the knurled section out and away from the body so you do not have to worry about scratching it, The Inside appears to be Heavy duty so I do not worry about it wearing out interfering with connection. It allows me to use any of my cables I already own be it a short 10' Cable or one of my 20' Cables which is nice seeing how I already have enough cables all I needed was a Right Angle at output. So far I am extremely happy with this item.
