The Line 6 X2 XDR-954 is a breakthrough in wireless sound and performance. It is 2009 compliant and features a cardioid lavalier microphone. Cardioid microphones are the number one choice for vocal and speaking applications where maximum isolation for the performer is desired without the complications of wearing equipment on your head. Simply attach the supplied tie-clip to your clothing and free up your hands for other tasks. The cardioid microphone will greatly reduce feedback problems. This wireless mic system includes a digital UHF bodypack transmitter, and rackmount receiver. An AT831-X microphone, front mounted antenna kit, rack-mounting hardware, and users guide and batteries.
Boasting extended frequency response and dynamic range, X2 XDR954 produces brilliant sound quality comparable to that of high-quality audio cables. Instead of tripping over dozens of feet of tangled cable, performers will fall for X2 XDR954's clear and commanding tone.
Featuring an extended range of 300 feet, the length of an entire football field, X2 XDR954 provides at maximum range the same blazing signal and brilliant, uncompressed tone that it provides at the source. Analog wireless systems, notorious for rolling-off low end, force public speakers to sacrifice tone for wireless functionality.
Extremely versatile, X2 XDR954 even simplifies the recording process. The extended frequency response, 10 Hz “ 20 kHz, satisfies the expectations speakers have come to demand from high-quality cable, but without the tangled mess.

Ive owned this thing for about 2 years now and i love it. played numerous shows with it, as well as practiced with it a bit. i notice no difference between using a cord and using my wireless. the tone is flawless. the only problem i have with it is that it eats batteries like crazy, but its worth it for wireless freedom at live shows.
