A Model Switch is used to select 3 distinctly different rotating effects types: the 145 - based on* the Leslie® 145, L16 based on* the Fender® Vibratone model 16, and 122 based on* the Leslie® 122. A Ramp Switchcontrols how long it takes the speed to go from Fast to Slow from 3 ramp speeds.
Speed controls include a Fast Knob to control how fast the horn and drum rotates and a Slow Knob that sets a slow speed for the horn and drum rotation (a range that doesn't overlap the Fast Knob range.
Other controls include a Drive Knob, Blend Knob, and Tap Tempo.

I bought this product by accident. I didn't realize the pedal came separate. I ordered the pedal and put the module in place pretty easily. Found a place for it on my pedal board and ala-kazam! Roto-magic. This thing can sing. I suggest getting the stereo pedal if you want the full effect. Each Setting does have a unique tone. You can adjust the settings for fast and slow and a light push on the pedal will interchange the setting. A full push on the pedal will bypass it. Its really flexible. I hooked it up to my rhodes keyboard and although it will never replace the sound of a real rotating speaker, it still sounds great.
