Cable Tone, Wireless Freedom
With super-wide dynamic range, best-in-class converters and the lowest latency of any digital wireless system, Relay G70 and G75 are designed for tone snobs and high-gain players alike. While other wireless systems employ perceptual coding and compression, only Line 6 digital wireless systems transmit your tone without compromise.

Support For Multiple Instruments
Relay G70 and G75 support multiple transmitters, so you can handle a variety of guitar setups and changes without any hassle. Programmable presets make it easy to select signal routing, levels and any combination of 1/4" and XLR outputs for each instrument. Its the easiest way to incorporate multiple guitars into your set.

Two Rugged Metal Models
Relay G70 and G75 are built to withstand anything: drops, kicks, stomps, you name it. The metal construction provides tour-grade durability from stage to studio. Simply choose the model thats right for your setup. Relay G70 stompbox fits perfectly on your pedal board, while Relay G75 is designed for amp-top placement. And, unlike other wireless systems, Relay G70 and G75 transmitters feature a 1/4" locking input, so no special cables are required.

Comments about Line 6 Relay G70 Digital Wireless Guitar System:

I read lots of positive reviews on the G70 and having had ok luck with other Line6 products in the past, decided to take the leap. In short, the G70 is a very well made, well thought out unit that sounds great. The pedal version offers a ton of great features by itself, even if you forget about wireless for a moment (tuner, A/B switcher, A/B/Y switcher, clean boost, direct box). The transmitter is all metal construction, and is VERY well designed, and it has an EXCELLENT belt clip (not the case with some of the earlier Line6 units). But, with that all said, the main reason I bought the unit was for its wireless capabilities and like many others, this is where I found the unit lacking...

In my apartment, the unit worked flawlessly, but once I got to rehearsal, the dropouts and dropped transmitter connections began. As recommended by Line6, I updated both the receiver and transmitter to the latest firmware, but that didn't seem to have any impact on the problem. I would get two different types of dropouts; the quarter-of-a-second dropout that many other users have complained about, and then also several times a night the unit would simply loose connection to the transmitter (no reconnect either… signal would just completely go way and I'd have to reset the power switch on the transmitter pack to get things working again). Over an average three-hour rehearsal, I would get 3-4 dropouts AND 4-5 transmitter disconnects. I will admit that I am in a dedicated rehearsal hall, and that there are several other bands rehearsing in adjacent rooms, but this seemed an unacceptable failure rate of the unit to me despite my band-neighbors. Line6 suggested eliminating other wi-fi signals from the environment but that's simply not a solution in my case (not with the number of bands surrounding me).

So... while there are a lot of things to like about the G70, I just could not come to trust the units reliability. I exchanged the unit for the Shure GLXD16 and have been extremely please

Comments about Line 6 Relay G70 Digital Wireless Guitar System:

Having narrowed my choices down to two brands, I was able to test the Rely G70. This system is beyond what I expected. I had used VHF and UHF systems in the past and concluded that staying the course with trusty cords was the best option. However, the new digital systems are so much better and the Line6 G70 is tops in this class. I can't rave enough about this system. It has been flawless as I perform often. The added options in this pedal are not to be taken lightly. The tuner is extremely accurate, the booster simply works and the A/B switching works wonders. The accelerometer coupled with the sleep mode internal of the transmitter, has been a boon to the battery life. Far better than expected. I've heard people complain about drop outs. I haven't experienced this at all. It has been solid. No more cords!

Comments about Line 6 Relay G70 Digital Wireless Guitar System:

Please be aware that both the G70 and G75 models DO NOT come with a 9v power supply, and the use of the included 5v USB to Micro USB is not roadworthy. Micro connectors are notoriously flimsy and should only be used for software updates, not to supply power, which it can, but after a while it will wear and in my case the internal Micro USB power connector will break and get pushed into the unit (Note to Line 6: quality improvement). Instead, use a BOSS PSA-120S, it delivers 500ma of power (which is required for either of these units). If Line 6 supplied the 9v power adapter, then 5 stars, else 4 because you'll want to purchase a reliable power source.

I tried to use it at 6 different bar gigs - constant dropouts when I move more than 10 feet away from the receiver. I have the 1.03 firmware update, and always use the scan function to pick the best channel.
