After my Flextone XL bit the bullet, I wanted something that had the Line 6 user friendliness, but also that I could combine with a much lighter amp for gigging. I looked at Pods and some of the newer Line 6 amps, but I didn't want to have to buy either, and STILL pay over $200 for a floorboard controller. I couldn't believe it when I saw Line 6 had a new, all in one pedal for under $300. It has all the features of the Pod 2.0 plus more! Well I figured I couldn't lose with a price like that and preordered one. One thing I LOVE about Line 6 amps and effects is that they are so easy to program. KNOBS, not buttons, which for me is great, 'cause I hate to have to spend alot of timing messing with effect chains and confusing algorythmns. I recenetly bought a Marshall Artist 3203 and an Avatar 2x12 cabinet with Celestion vintage 30s, and this pedalboard sounds great thru this amp! You have to do a little bit of tweaking, but if U fiddle with it, you'll get your sound. The amp modelings are great and the effects are pretty cool. A couple of gripes: There is no bypass switch if ya wanna run other effects at the same time or just use the distortion from your amp w/out mixing it with the POD effects. Also, some of the effects like delay can get a little loopy when your trying to dial them in. Also, there isn't a listing of all the presets in the manual, so you actually have to scroll thru and play each one to try them out. But really, for $300 bucks, how can ya ask for more. I haven't had a chance to record direct with this yet or play live with it, but I'm sure it will sound great. If your looking for great sound, easy operation and a low price tag, buy one!

I bought this in may, and I was pretty excited since this was my first real effects board. Two hours of fiddling later, and I was already wanting something else. After I made some effects that worked for me (and made them the same volume, which on this machine is more difficult than you would expect), I was a little more impressed, but it still didn't sound great. I play a Gibson Les Paul, and this made my guitar sound very, very cheap. If you must have a multi-effect board rather than a pedal board, I suggest at least saving up for the next level of the floor pod, which I have played several times (it's easier to use, more practical, and better sounding). That said, if you're not really into tone and just want some different effects to play with, this is a great pedal for you...the effects that it comes with are the reason I give it three stars, and not one.

Everything but the Kitchen Sink

By Cody M.

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This pedal has it all and the "plus" makes all the difference. Lots of amp models which have a green and red setting for two different sounds per model, effects that you can even tweak and delays. There are 31 banks and 4 slots per bank so that's 124 slots (i counted) and I barely use them all. Easy switching is very convenient for playing songs that change sounds throughout the song. This thing is amazing!

The Best Effect pedal!

By Colin Olsen

from Cary, Illinois

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

If you just want something cheap, and you want amp styles and effects, this is the must have. Its the best, except you can't run 2 or 3 effects at once. Built in wah, which sounds great. The effects are simply spectacular. 2 chorus, 2 flange, tremolo, everything you would want from multi-effects. And knobs, very easy to use, and can change the prest very differently. 124 presets, I only use 10 of them. Very good if you are looking for a low priced pod with excellent effects.

Great pedal

By Jared

from Eugene, Oregon

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This little thing is amazing, its got LOTS of room between pedals, so almost no messing up during a performance, live or otherwise. The wah pedal...well, the pedal is sturdy, but I would personally go for a dedicated wah pedal, you could get a better sound out of it than that. I have read a lot of reviews on other websites, one thing I suggest, If you are getting noise feedback, mess with the noise gate and channel volume. Chances are it's your amp or guitar, I plugged this into my bass amp, and man, im getting no feedback or annoying static buzz. You have lots of choices when you want your own sound, so you can truly make your own sound, you can switch presets by just hitting bank and hitting one of the 4 chooser pedals. its really amazing, but I imagine there could be a quicker way. What I would do if you are doing a live show, dial in your presets before hand...dedicate bank 1 for your first song, and set up one or two presets, and always make sure to have a channel for clean. Btw, the clean channel is clean indeed, and...well...sounds great, I think I told you about everything there is to know, but yeah...if you want to just plug and play, you are wrong, you aren't gonna get the sound you want, you gotta spend a few weeks with it and tune it to your playing styles. I really dont think you can do much better for a price! I also had a chance to play on a Floor POD, the mini version of this, if you are looking for something to get started on, just try that, it is great, and it has almost as much as this one has. Anyway, I hope you found this useful. Good luck.

Awesome!!!!!

By Ty

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This product is awesome. I debated for a long time on if I should get it or not, but I finally did, and I am so glad that I did. It gives you great sound for any style of music. From Country to Metal and all genres in between. I would recommend this to any guitar player who is looking for some good effects for his guitar but doesn't ant to pay a ton of money on separate pedals. The only thing I don't like about this pedal is you can not use more than one effect at a time. This really isn't a huge problem but there are some times when I do with I could use more than on effect. My advice is that if you want multiple effects for your guitar and don't have a ton of money get the floor pod plus, BUT if you have a lot of money that you don't mind blowing on effects I would recommend getting multiple pedals or getting a step up and buying the Pod X3 Live.

not so great

By Josh

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I owned the floor pod plus for a few months and wasn't very pleased. After about a the effects and wah weren't as clear sounding as when i first bought the system. Also when i tried to save personal settings, it flat out didn't work. Overall if you're going to spend money on a pedal system, you may as well just get the boss me70.. that's the best one i've found so far.

Not Good

By METAL GUY

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

The sound is way to hard to customize and It do not sound that good when you do. You would be better of if you bought the smaller pocket PODs then this one.
