I was having trouble deciding on how to spend my $250.00 on a new multi-effect for guitar, but when I plugged into the newest product idea from Line 6, I was through shopping! Not only is it a great value for the money, it is very user friendly, which seems to be the short fall with most of the all inclusive amp modeling/FX pedals these days. I would recommend this pedal to any picker who is looking for a high quality floor unit that actually makes it fun again to just plug in and play guitar!

I bought this about 6 weeks ago. Had problems with the patches resetting and volume fluctuations. Returned it for a replacement and the replacement model does the exact same thing. Tried to get support from Line 6 and was told that I have "power issues" in my house although I have 2 Crate Amps, a BOSS Br600 and a Morely Pro 2 plugged into the same power source with no problems. My suggestion? Save your money and buy something else. Good amp models and effects but unreliable performance.

While I am not a big fan of Line 6 (too electronic-sounding), this pedal is definitely fun to play with and great for beginning players to experiment with different sounds. It has the usual multiple amp models and FX famous in Line 6. With plenty of user-banks to store all your sounds with, its great for song-writing that requires multiple tonal/effect changes. The Wah is also great, and a big reason of the pedals 4-Star ranking. But as I evolved as a player, so did my taste of tone and pedals. This pedal overrides your tone completely, and definitely has its limits performance-wise. But again, for what it is, it is a great small fun little pedal for beginners to find their way on.
This beauty was the first Multi Effects pedal I ever owned, and for the price you can't get a better one! There are some fantastic Amp models on it (a favourite of mine is the "Green" Insane setting, which I used to play Black Sabbath covers a LOT) It has absolutely everything you need to get started, but also some features that more experienced guitarists will appreciate. It's got Chorus, Flange, Phaser, Delay, Tremolo and a FANTASTIC Wah. Unbelievably clear with plenty of bite. It has become my Wah pedal of choice. The only downsides I have found are that you can only run two effects at once (No reverb with delay), and also the Fuzz setting isn't up to much at all... It's relatively sturdy, despite having a plastic casing, although I did manage to break the Tremolo On light, which is a little irritating. Overall this is a fantastic unit, with a great price to match, and what makes it best is that it is SO easy to use!
Great Pedal, if you take the time to get to know it, you will love it, granted some of the factory presets are a little cheesy and tinny sounding, but, make your own tones, revise the factory presets. I am very happy with this pedal, the wah is great as well....I'm giving the Floor Pod...2 thumbs up...i have gigged with it and it is holding it's own very well....
It's a pretty nice Multi-effect for what it's priced at. The tone quality is pretty nice when you get it just right and it doesn't take to long to figure it out. I think it took me about a day, maybe two. The only downsides of this Particular pedal is that the Pedal for wah is too loose. I actually just used my into the front and looped the multi-effect. Also for tuning you have to reach down and hold a button for a few seconds until the tuner comes on.
I was looking to a multi effect pedal and this was the one that stuck out to my eye so i bought it i loved everything it did the things i liked were the distortion, the echos and the flanger. the things i didn't like were how it doubled up on knobs and the pedal on the side does not work very well. but if your looking for a multi effect pedal Line 6 is the way to go!
This pedal is pretty nice. It worked pretty ok with my electric Guitar and Violin too. It has tons of Options with distortion. It has the ability to be plugged right into a system, but when I did It gave it a very metallic sound. It could of been I didn't use a pre amp but I still like messin around with this one. I recommend it if your just planning on messin around with Distortion but not with Live gigs, unless your looking for a very metallic tone.
WOW! This pedal is awesome! I enjoy playing with it. It has very good sounds. I do recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an awesome pedal.
This Multi-effect is the first one I've gotten and It sounds really nice. It comes with the 60 preset sounds. All of them are really cool and this effect allows you to tweak the sound of the distortion and then save it. It also has 4 other channels where you can create your own effect. I love playin my guitar on it. Hopefully soon after i'm done building my Electric violin, I can plug that thig into it and make it sing.
I bought this effects pedal because my Boss GT3 finally gave up on me and I needed something quick until I save up for a bigger processor. This thing is working out well for me. I had it set up in 2 days to get all the effects I need and where I felt comfortable with the sound. One thing I would recommend is to buy an EQ pedal to run from the pedal to the amp so you can set the mid's so it sounds better. I just bought a Danelectro fish and chips and it improved the sound tremendously. I have used this on stage for 2 shows already and I can say I am very happy with my new setup.
I am returning this unit today and I'll tell you why. I found that it does not have much range among it's various features. Amp mods and effects are very similar in sound with only slight tone variations. I'll admit that I did not sit down for hours on end trying to figure this out, but that to me defeats the purpose of buying something like a floor pod which is pre-programmed with many variations. I became frustrated trying to adjust it so that it would sound good. I also notice a lot of noise from this unit. I tried plugging it in to different power outlets and got the same result. My amp runs very quite on it's own, and none of my other effects pedals cause this level of noise to enter the loop. Bottom line? this unit will make a low quality amp sound great, but it will not make you happy if you plug it into high quality pro equipment.
