Comments about Line 6 Firehawk 1500 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

Very powerful amp and great tones, BUT some unfinished details. Can't use a Microsoft Surface tablet with this unit---yet; hope Line 6 will update the software for a Surface tablet and Windows PC's. The documentation is pretty minimal. I also own a Helix unit (Fantastic!) and Line 6 should have thought out more on intergrating these units. (Same with Helix--doesn't integrate well with the DT amps) Still trying to figure out how to use MIDI program changes to select patches like you can on Helix and HD500 floor units. I'm not a MIDI expert and would like more implementation documentation for this unit. Love the monitor in feature; I also use a GR55 guitar synth and now I can plug this directly into this amp and eliminate the need to carry another full range amplifier for gigs. Other than that, great unit; will figure out the workarounds and now am using as my main gig amp.

Comments about Line 6 Firehawk 1500 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

I use this amp as my main amp and it's got power to spare for almost any venue. Tones never lose quality even at the high volumes. The stereo speakers and wet/dry/wet speaker configuration make the modulations and time based effects sound incredible! Well worth the investment. Not to mention you can tweak literally every detail of your sound down to the smallest frequencies with the remote app

Comments about Line 6 Firehawk 1500 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

I tried the firehawk 1500 in hopes that this would be the answer to my guitar and guitar synth rig. An hour into rehearsal after some careful setup to match settings over the previous week, I knew it was a mistake. It sounded as if I was playing through a wet sock. Sounds would bloom, and be inconsistent. The amp would not cutthrough with midrange frequencies, consistently, mud and glass shattering are the only way I can describe the tone. I took it back. Tried an orange crush pro 120h. With single 12. Whole different ballgame. Just my experience, and I am not knocking the fabulous tech in the amp. It just didn't perform as advertised. Oh, controlled feedback sustain was impossible. Pi kups went micophonic on my fender strat when holding guitar close to amp and started honking on the center horn. Heavy as he'll in the bag. Master volume knob flimsy. Modeled sounds ok, but required tweaking on the app.
