X2 is for You
I got one of these just before we left town for a small tour, it worked flawlessly. Super easy setup, if you can even call it a setup. plug and play really. I didn't notice any sort of drop off or loss in tone, I'm sure there had to be some, but I'm a gear snob and I couldn't hear it. I feel like the price is great, especially considering how expensive some wireless units are, and like I said this one works great. I wouldn't want to use it if I was playing gigs for thousands of people, but playing clubs in Hollywood and Socal it does everything I need it to.

Finally an affordable "CLEAN" wireless.
This is the first of many wireless systems that I have purchased, that I am going to actually keep. I have looked for a wireless system to fit my budget for a couple of years now and every one I have had, has been disappointing. Until now. The X2 XDS95 sound as good as my Monster Cables plugged straight in. No backround noise, no missing or extra color. Just perfect clean, crisp tone, with a thundering bottom end. My GK 1001RB sounds perfect. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a wireless in "any" price range.

Finally
I am a bass player and this was my 3rd wireless system in two days.
The cheapy was...well cheap. The one priced comparable to this one sounded worse than the cheapy!
I decided to give it one more try before giving up and going back to cables.
I am glad I did. Though I just got it, I played a two hour rehearsal with my band and noticed no cut out, distortion, tone or volume loss. It literally sounded like I was tethered to the amp again.
Difficult getting the battery in the receiver, but other than that, no issues...so far.

Dont miss this one!
I have always played guitar wired into the amp and wanted to go wireless but after trying many wireless units I lost tone and the sound was compressed analog sound.I didnt buy any of the units I tried because of the altered sound so I just gave up on a wireless unit.But...I went to guitar center recently and decided to see if any better wireless units were available and was told by the salesman helping me that he thought I would really like this unit that he also used because it was digital! The sound was as if i was plugged into to the amp .I was thrilled that finally I could go wireless without loss of tone.I also tried it with an Acoustic electric and was just as pleased. The difference is that it is digital not analog.I highly recomend this unit! You wont be dissapointed I didnt have any noise issues at all with it. I am a Happy customer.Try it and if you dont agree you can return it.I won't be returning mine!

Awesome!
This is my first time going wireless and I was thoroughly impressed by the operation of this unit and the simplicity of setup. I used it for 3, 1-hour sets and it performed flawlessly. I tested the range to 50 feet with no loss of signal. I used several effects pedals and the wireless unit did not diminish the sound quality or volume! I am very pleased with this purchase.

Flawless Performance
I picked this system up just before a weekend where I play lead guitar in a Christian Rock Praise Band. My biggest concern was seeing one review that indicated the treble being somewhat increased. The salesman said I could return it if it didn’t work out. I played three 20 min. sets that weekend and it worked flawlessly. It turns out the manual confirms the treble boost if you use a stereo TRS cable. That cable is generally for interfacing with other equipment and produces a full-bandwidth signal. I encountered no problems at all and could not distinguish between using this system vs being hard wired. Not being tethered anymore also had an additional benefit of being able to walk out in front during practice and hear exactly what my setup would sound like, which was great for tweaking guitar patches for my Strat. The unit is very well thought out and straight forward except for one thing … the battery compartments. The transmitter requires you to keep a Phillips screwdriver handy and good luck with getting the transmitter compartment open without breaking it or your fingernails. It's just disappointing that with the rest of the product being so good that the battery compartment access seems not well thought out but that’s my only complaint and I can live with that.

pretty flimsy
i have this model and the rack mount model. they both sound amazing. i play 4-5 nights a week and use these things constantly.
i have used ev, audio technica, and shure wirelesses in the past and none of them articulate the low end of my bass like these. 2 weeks into buying these the transmitter pack cord died on both. so i shelled out for the neutrik ended cord. way better. but then 3 months later the jack in the transmitter cut out. if you are going to buy this do yourself a favor, buy the neutrik cord and get the performance guarentee

Sounds good when it works
I was expecting a lot from this unit as I have a couple of friends who have used the same unit for a while now with nothing but rave reviews. I am now returning a 2nd unit in a month as they both seem to stop working for no apparent reason. Neither unit has been used for more than 5 hours!

Good For The Price!!!
I purchased this unit due to my band is starting to tour more and we are playing on some bigger stages and I like to interact more with my bandmates and the crowd. The unit works pretty good. No dropouts or pops or squeals. One thing I did notice was you need to keep the receiver on the floor. I had it on top of my amp, and it was humming, popping, squealing. Other then that, it is a great buy.
